Gel

Industrial gel batteries, also known as gel cells, are a type of lead-acid battery that uses a gel electrolyte instead of a liquid electrolyte. The gel is made by mixing sulfuric acid with a silica compound, which forms a semi-solid material that eliminates the risk of electrolyte spillage.

The main advantages of industrial gel batteries include their maintenance-free design, high resistance to vibration and shock, and the ability to operate in a wider temperature range than traditional lead-acid batteries. They also have a longer service life and a low self-discharge rate, making them a popular choice for applications such as renewable energy systems, backup power, and material handling equipment.
