Golf carts, utility vehicles and other small, electric-powered vehicles have a very specific power requirement, one that BSH understands. BSH’s range of electric vehicle batteries is designed to deliver reliable, high-power output to support the demands of these vehicles. They are manufactured to provide hours of continuous operation and provide the power needed to move the vehicle and its passengers.

When choosing a battery for your golf or utility vehicle there are several technologies you could consider those being; Lead-Acid, AGM and Lithium-Ion.

  • Lead-acid golf & utility vehicle batteries: These are the most common batteries seen in these small electric vehicles, they are also the cheapest deep-cycle batteries. They do however have the shortest lifespan compared to other golf cart battery technologies, they require the most maintenance and are the heaviest.
  • AGM golf & utility vehicle batteries: These require a lot less maintenance than lead-acid however are significantly more expensive.
  • Lithium-Ion (LiFeO4) golf & utility vehicle batteries: These batteries offer an extended lifespan, weigh a lot less and have increased efficiency. In comparison to other golf & utility batteries Lithium-Ion batteries have a higher initial cost but because they last a lot longer, you will save money over time.
